This early 20^th century Craftsman home had spectacular views of Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier from a little-used second level deck. The project expanded the house onto the deck and created a spacious master suite that included a stone-tiled bathroom, a master bedroom with 11' ceilings and a corner sitting area, and a large skylit walk-in closet.

The couple's lifestyle routines were carefully considered, and features like a soaking tub with a mountain view help bring moments of peace and comfort to their daily rituals. The period style and character were continued in the addition and updated with highlights of more contemporary materials inside.
