PERKINS LANE HOUSE | SEATTLE, WA
Perched on a hillside looking southwest across Elliott Bay, the original house was in need of extensive renovation and upgrading. We tore the main floor down to the studs and rearranged the spaces, creating an open, professional kitchen for the wife's culinary talents and a broad living/dining room that opens onto a rebuilt deck. A variety of customized storage details were added behind the clean cabinetry faces, including pull out steps, efficient corner storage, and customized storage drawers.
The cabinetry has English sycamore veneer facing and soapstone countertops, with ebony stained cork tile on the kitchen floor. The living room flooring is Murbau and leads out to an expansive Ipe deck with a custom glass and stainless steel guardrail.
